Technical Specifications to the Law on Pension Reform are being drafted and shall be scrutinized in the Parliament during the First Working Day of the Next Session - V. Lytvyn
"Technical work on the pension reform should be finalized", stated V. Lytvyn during his stay in Zhytomyr region (Chervonoarmiysk district).
According to him, under clause 131 of the Standing Orders of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, on September 6, the Verkhovna Rada shall vote for technical specifications to several bills. If a positive decision is adopted, the respective proposals shall be included in the Law; then the Law shall be signed by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and sent to the President to be signed.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine drew attention to the issue concerning the date of entry into legal force, since the law cannot come into effect on September 1 due to several reasons.
However, V. Lytvyn emphasized that delay with the singing is not connected with submission of the deputies´ appeal to the Constitutional Court of Ukraine regarding illegitimacy of adoption of the law.
